Throughout our lives we are trained to take things at face value. When we see a garlic bulb, well, we see a garlic bulb. However, there is so much more to it: every clove has its unique shape and size. Yet, we don’t delve into complexities beyond our basic knowledge of the object. Learning to be a designer meant unlearning things I had been taught and looking with a new perspective. This book documents my journey of unlearning, as a visual communication designer, from 2018 to 2020.
